Why are the people that hang out around Polls and Surveys so much more fun than the other areas?

I always get way better answers and don't get yelled at when I post in Polls and Surveys... thanks guys~

Why are the people that hang out around Polls and Surveys so much more fun than the other areas?
we are as a whole~~a less focused bunch!! The questions are pretty random here so therefore our thoughts are just as random!!

Reply:cause in other categories people take things too seriously and that just makes you feel depressed!!!
Reply:b/c we're the kind of people that allows God in the Pledge of Allegiance, allows the 10 Commandments in a courthouse, allows Christmas plays in school, allows prayers in school, allows Harry Potter in school, don't sue people for $2 million for spilling hot coffee on our crotch, let bygones be bygones when someone cuts you off in traffic instead of shooting at them with the gun in your glovebox, able to deal with our emotions instead of going on a killing spree from a clock tower or at Va Tech, and we don't look out for people that don't mow their lawns, park more than two vehicles in the driveway, have a playground too tall in the backyard, or put up a fence too short or too tall just so we can fine them.





Sometimes people piss me off. That's it, I'm in a bad mood now. I'm not in the right state of mind for P%26amp;S. I'm going to bed now.
Reply:I think it's just a perception and opinion. I mean, most other areas are where people are asking about pertinent information where as;..... here,........people ask mostly trivial questions.





I don't expect people to have to be "fun" when I am asking someone about my Dogs in the Pets section, and surely don't think I should expect an aire of slapstick in the Cancer area of Diseases and Conditions in the Health area.





See my point? This is not a real fruitful area where knowledge or intelligence is of any importance. If it were; about 75% wouldn't qualify to hang out here.
